Bruno teases Brighton fans after Manchester United’s lucky win

Manchester United left it late against Brighton, as the Red Devils won in the 110th minute of the Premier League fixture. Bruno Fernandes inevitably scored from the spot for United in what turned out to be the last kick of the game. The Portuguese star also made sure to add insult to injury with his comments in the post-match interview.

Bruno Fernandes had a mixed game as he gave away a penalty for Brighton, but also scored a registered an assist for United. The attacking midfielder has been at the centre of a lot of social media divide, as opposition fans have mocked him saying he only scored from penalties.

But Bruno is least bothered of what is going on in social media and has rubbed salt into Brighton’s wounds in his interview. He said: “the point is to score goals, not hit the crossbar or post” when he was asked about Brighton’s chances.

The Brighton side hit the frame of De Gea’s goal five times last night, but still Manchester United managed to come out with all three points.

The Red Devils will hope that their luck remains the same throughout the Premier League season and they conjure up another top-4 finish over the course of this Premier League campaign.
