Dwight Yorke thinks criticism for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ‘Pure jealousy’

Dwight Yorke was all praise for his former Manchester United teammate Ole as he thinks that this Manchester United side can end the 8-year wait for the Premier League trophy.

Dwight Yorke told the Sun, “There is a lot of jealousy towards Ole from within the game. People don’t want to see him be successful for some reason.” Ole has taken up several coaching positions with tenures at places like Cardiff and Molde. He also trained the Manchester United reserves. He has had his fair share of critics along the road.

The naysayers have always felt that Ole hasn’t managed to win a lot of titles and that his Manchester United side are really inconsistent with a lot of defensive frailties cropping up from time to time.

One certainly cannot deny these facts but there seems to be a shift in their mentality this season as they are the team that has picked up maximum points from losing positions this season.

Any lasting project requires both appropriate funds as well as a long-term vision and ole is planning on an overhaul this season as he is looking to let go of some of the fringe players in the club and sign some exciting young talent.

Right now Manchester United wants a proper defensive midfielder and defender to steer the ship at the back but until that time they will have to make do with what they have and things look really promising for the Red Devils. Many of the pundits are taking a U-Turn on their stand against Ole and hopefully, he can deliver them some silverware really soon.
