Eric Bailly has been very impressive in recent performances and has managed to put his body on the line with every chance that he got for the team.
Eric Bailly’s progress at Manchester United has largely been halted due to the looming injury crisis that he has faced time and again. He has put in several great performances whenever fit to play and the fans would love to see more of him.
In the victory against Watford in the FA cup 3rd round he had to be taken off the field as he collided with Dean Henderson. What seemed like an injury may just turn out to be a hefty knock and I hope that we can see him on the field real soon.
The fans and the staff were disappointed but Eric Bailly has sent a reassuring message to the fans. Manchester United progress to the next round of the FA Cup and there were quite a few additions that played in the starting lineup.
Victor Lindelof has also been struggling with back problems for almost a year now and with Bailly becoming prone to such injuries regularly there is still a big defensive crisis at the club as one could see the effects of it in the loss to Manchester City.
Manchester United has spent heavy sums on trying to bring in a stable defensive backline to the club but it still hasn’t resulted in any silverware. Hopefully, they can continue their good form in the premier league and their next match against Liverpool would be a crucial one.
