Fabrizio Romano and Christian Falk have been one of the most active and accurate transfer market experts in media lately. Yesterday, Jan Aage Fjortoft, a former footballer, invited both Romano and Falk on his podcast to discuss about the recent transfer market updates. For most parts of the podcast, all three discussed Sancho’s deal and what United need to do to get the English winger.
Proud to get 2 of the best transfer- insiders as my guests. @cfbayern and @FabrizioRomano
Sancho still on? Does he want to play for Man UTD?
Where will Havertz end?
How close is Thiago Liverpool?

Fabrizio Romano clarified that the deal isn’t off yet because of the agents’ and United’s interest. He also added that the Red Devils will need to pay the entirety of the €120m, instead of using add-ons. The Red Devils wanted to pay in three instalments, Dortmund agreed, but then United wanted to pay using add-ons which Dortmund didn’t accept.
Christian Falk confirmed that Jadon Sancho has had a personal agreement with Manchester United and is keen on moving to England. He also insisted that Sancho needs to do something, as in, hand in a transfer request to make sure his move to Old Trafford materializes. But it is unlikely for Sancho to do so as Dortmund have provided him with the platform to be a world-beater.

The podcast was a relief to United fans who feared the worst after Michael Zorc’s statement in the press a day ago.
