Galatasaray offer Cristiano Ronaldo a chance to escape Old Trafford

Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo may be offered a way out of the club during the January transfer window as Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray is rumoured to be interested in signing him.

According to a report by the Turkish publication Fotomac, Ronaldo’s problematic situation at Old Trafford might be resolved by Galatasaray as the club may go all-out to sign him this January.

Despite being a powerful figure in the club’s history, Ronaldo has struggled to find playing time so far this season, and the 37-year-old has had to settle for a spot on the bench in most games.

Erik ten Hag has openly revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo is unhappy when he isn’t given the opportunity to play, therefore it’s possible that this winter, the veteran forward will have the opportunity to go on and play more frequently with a different team.

Even while he might not be ready to play every week in the Premier League at this point in his career, Ronaldo still has a lot to contribute.

United supporters will undoubtedly feel differently about this; some may even support Ten Hag since he wants to start something new rather than rely on well-known players.

However, if Ronaldo leaves and scores more goals then it will simply serve to highlight how much he is still capable of producing world-class performances and that United have failed to use him properly.
