Harry Kane willing to stay at Spurs if he fails to move to Old Trafford

According to a recent report from the Sun, Harry Kane, the captain of the England national team and Tottenham Hotspur, is willing to stay at Spurs for one more season if he fails to secure a move to Old Trafford this summer.

Kane has set his sights on breaking Alan Shearer’s record of 260 Premier League goals and does not want to move abroad at this stage.

While Tottenham is more open to selling the prolific goal-scorer to a foreign club, Bayern Munich has shown significant interest in the striker.

However, the striker remains uninterested in a move to Germany. With one year left on his contract, United appears to be the only viable English option for Kane this summer.

The striker is not willing to risk his reputation with the fans by joining rival PL clubs. Meanwhile, Newcastle is not currently in a position to spend over £100 million on a single player.

According to reports, Liverpool and Manchester City are not actively seeking a new striker in the transfer market. This puts United in a position where they need to persuade Tottenham’s chairman, Daniel Levy, to sell Harry Kane, their prized asset, to a domestic rival—a scenario Levy is reluctant to consider.

Sources suggest that Kane is interested in a move to Old Trafford, or else he may opt to run down his contract, potentially resulting in him leaving as a free agent.

Recently, the striker has shown commitment to the future of Tottenham, but the club is currently without a manager after Antonio Conte’s departure in March and their eighth-place finish.
