Injury Update

Harry Maguire ruled out with a slight tear

Harry Maguire has been an ever-present figure for Manchester United since he since for the club last summer. The Red Devils signed Maguire as the most expensive defender in the history of football and also made him captain of the side in January. But from his Instagram, Maguire has confirmed that he is injured and will miss the game against PSG in the Champions League.

The United captain has had a tough couple of months, both on and off the pitch. Maguire has had a poor start to the season with Manchester United and England, drawing a lot of criticism for the centre-back. But against Newcastle, last weekend, he scored a goal and looked confident on the ball, which encouraged Solskjaer and the fanbase.

But it has now been reported that Maguire has endured a slight tear and is expected to be back against Chelsea. Even Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said in his press conference about the same, indicating that Bruno Fernanes will be skipper for the upcoming Champions League clash and United will be without their best centre-back against PSG. Maguire will be a huge loss to the Red Devils as his aerial ability is great and he is a dominant force physically.

PSG are one of the best-attacking sides in Europe thus United will surely miss Maguire, but will hope that their captain is back for the weekend clash against Chelsea.
