From the unimaginable to the unbelievable, from the experienced to youngsters, from Valencia to Shaw and Young to Dalot, United seem to have solved the problem for full back in the face of Shaw and Dalot. The youngster’s were a treat to watch and a sight for sore eyes in their last game.
Luke Shaw, brilliant as he has been this season, showed a model of composure in his game play and did not falter in his comeback game after his head injury against Spain.
Diogo Dalot, Were you playing your first game after a season long break due to knee injury? Who would have said this after his spellbinding performance against Young Boys. The 19-year old played his first game for Red devils then too, the Portuguese was successful in squeezing through the defence of Young Boys and provide some delightful passes into the box.
Jose loved their performance and had ample to praise them for.
He said.” I think both, they play at the same level, Diogo and Luke played very, very well. Our danger came from both of them, they had fantastic movement, they had depth, they had crosses, they had assists, they were involved in the most dangerous actions and they defended also well. So both were very, very good.”
“Luke is here for a few years, he is playing since beginning of the season. And for Diogo, first match for the club after knee surgery, I think very good, solid performance, I think everybody could see the potential and everybody could see that he is a 19-year-old player who has more than 10 years to play for Manchester United.”
In Dalot and Shaw, United has got players with technical ability, players with unsound strength, players with defensive knack and a future of assured talent.
