After being cut from the England squad, Jadon Sancho is working harder than ever with coaches in the Netherlands in an effort to revive his Manchester United career.
Since his high-profile £83 million transfer to United was finalised last summer, Sancho has had a challenging 18 months in the Premier League. The 22-year-old had a productive time at Borussia Dortmund, but he hasn’t been able to carry that over to the English league.
The winger is using the midseason break to try and get his career back on track after his struggles this season cost him a spot in the England World cup squad. Sancho, who was pursued by United for a year before completing his high-profile transfer from Dortmund, has only managed eight goals and four assists in 52 appearances.

Even though the England star had a promising start to the season, Ten Hag’s presence hasn’t had the same impact on him as it has on other United players, like Marcus Rashford, who appeared revitalised after being given a fresh start.
The young attacker has since been spotted working out at Dutch amateur club OJC Rosmalen, who confirmed the United star’s presence with a tweet. The Athletic previously reported that Sancho was working with a Dutch coach “recommended” by Ten Hag.
Next week, during the midseason break, the Red Devils are scheduled to leave for a winter training camp in Cadiz, Spain, but Sancho has already returned to the office in an effort to resurrect his career after a challenging few months.

The United star, who missed the team’s final four games before the World Cup, has had a difficult season and received criticism from several pundits and fans.
Nevertheless, it was still anticipated that he would have a chance to make Gareth Southgate’s squad given the England manager’s mentality to stick with tested players.
