Juventus are ‘closing in’ on re-signing Paul Pogba, who is set to return to the Italian club on a free transfer.
Pogba is a free agent after his contract with Manchester United expired, and he has been negotiating with Juventus about returning to Turin, where he spent four seasons before his then-world-record £89 million move to Old Trafford in 2016.
Pogba is reportedly on the verge of signing a four-year contract worth roughly £68 million with Juventus, according to the Mail.
The 29-year-old will look to build on his previous success at the club, in which he won four consecutive Serie A titles and was nominated to the division’s Team of the Season three times.

Pogba left Juventus for Manchester United in a world-record move, but he struggled to play at his best in the Premier League on a continuous basis.
He won the League Cup and the Europa League in his debut season in 2016/17 but has failed to win silverware in his subsequent five seasons with the club.
Pogba had also been linked with PSG and Real Madrid, but Juventus are now the clear favourites to re-sign the Frenchman and will hope that his arrival can improve a team that finished fourth in Italy last season.
