Paul Pogba digs aim at Manchester United as he outlines his demands

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has revealed his desires ahead of a busy transfer window. He has talked about the expectations that need to be fulfilled to make him feel loved.

The World Cup winner will be a free agent at the end of the month, but he has yet to determine where he will play next.

During the ongoing transfer battle for the French midfielder, Paul Pogba has told rumoured suitors Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, and Barcelona what he actually wants. Pogba’s contract with United will expire at the end of the season, bringing an end to his largely dismal second stint at Old Trafford.

In 2016, the Frenchman returned to Manchester United from Juventus in a world-record deal, but he only managed to win the League Cup and the Europa League despite struggling with form and fitness on a regular basis.

Pogba is set to become a free agent at the end of the month, and Juve has offered him the chance to return to Turin, while PSG and Barca are also apparently interested in signing him.

In an interview with UNINTERRUPTED, the 29-year-old detailed exactly what he is looking for in his next club.

He said:

“Everybody wants to feel loved, everyone needs that in your soul to feel appreciated. Everything you do even when you grow up when you do a good thing you like to hear well done, nice, it’s always been like that even adults we need that. It’s always good to feel the work you do is appreciated that you’re doing well and that people are happy with yourself.”

Throughout his United career, Pogba has been a divisive character, with his loyalty to the team being questioned due to his alleged love of the limelight away from the pitch.

During a home win against Norwich last season, the midfielder was booed and told to “f*ck off” by a part of the crowd, and he has now highlighted the need of feeling “respected” in order to perform at the finest level possible.

It seems as if Pogba’s wants were also not fulfilled at Manchester United, because of his consistent performances. He also has himself to blame for not being a successful player.

He played under so many different managers but never found the perfect environment at Old Trafford which is quite strange.
