Last game United experienced a massive defeat against the mighty Spurs. The scoreline ended 0 – 3 against the favor of United.
It could have been different if the strikers had performed a faultless display of shots. Inspite of the drawbacks, there was Luke Shaw, the defender whose playing was at his best. Though his tackles couldn’t provide anything worthy to the team, but his performance was much better than his ability and was appreciated by the Manager as well.
Luke Shaw shared his views over the loss and promised the fans that the Red devils would pounce back strongly.
Interviewing to eight different television channels about his grief over the defeat, he refused to the journalists, standing inside the tunnel, to again lament his views over the painful defeat. Accepting the defeat as a champion should, Luke left no opportunity to praise the fans for being such a good audience, even after the team under-performing performance in front of them.
He assured them of success in the next game, which will be played against the Burnley. Optimism vividly shined in him and what will be interesting to see is whether this young lad can bring laurels with his tackling skills and optimistic attitude.
Luke had recently recovered from injury but it didn’t look like one. Recovering from the agony, he performed marvelously in the first three games of league , showing his sheer determination for the team and game.
