Luke Shaw believes that Greenwood has been their best performer in the month of April.
Greenwood has been in fine form and has already shown great improvement in his play. His recent performances in the Premier League have shown that he is capable of some big things. He has in fine form again after his performances had dropped early in the season.
Even Solksjaer praised Greenwood for the same. His current statistics show that he has already scored 10 goals and assisted 6 more for United in this season. These numbers are magnificent considering that he is just 19 years old and has a lot to give.
His recent performances have lowered down the problems he had suffered during the early parts of the season where he was involved in international exile and criticism for not being disciplined. He has now shown that he is capable of everything.
Shaw who has won the Man of the Month in the month of February and even in the Month of March thinks that this time the winner should be Mason Greenwood.
While talking to the club’s official website, Luke Shaw said: “They’ve all been brilliant but I’d have to give it to Mason probably He’s grown as a player, day in, day out, improving so much. When he came into the first team he was scoring a lot of goals but I think his all-round game now is becoming more complete. He’s looking like a real top player even at such a young age. So I have to give it to him on how he is improving, what he’s doing and how important he is for our team.”
Solksjaer rates the player very high and he has already mentioned Greenwood to be the best finisher in the squad. He deserves to be the winner of this month and also Edinson Cavani and Fernandes will be on that list after their breathtaking goals. This will be a very close one to watch.
