Mason Greenwood has had a meteoric rise to stardom in his senior football career, mainly because of his goalscoring prowess. But lately, Greenwood has been shown in bad light, because of what he did in Greece in his first senior England callup. It is now being reported by Sky Sports that Manchester United are frustrated with Greenwood’s issues off the pitch and are looking to solve the matter internally.
Greenwood was taken off the England squad about a month ago after not adhering to COVID-19 isolation rules in Greece. It was earlier reported that Greenwood was confident about this season and wanted to score even more goals. But the 19-year old hasn’t featured ion the last couple of matchday squads for the Red Devils.
It has been reported that Solskjaer is not happy with Greenwood’s attitude and punctuality, thus has benched him. Before the PSG game, Solskjaer had announced that Greenwood had a niggle due to which he missed the game at Paris. It is likely for the youngster to face Chelsea tomorrow though he is yet to pass the fitness test.
Mason Greenwood is surely a generational talent but he needs to work hard and keep himself disciplined to make himself one of the best in football.
