Luton Town vs Manchester United Preview | Carabao Cup 2020-21

Manchester United are set to travel to Luton Town as the club is ready to kick-off its Carabao Cup campaign. United will be etching to have their first win of the season as the Red Devils lost their first game in the Premier League. United might have a tough task to face as Luton Town are doing well in the Championship and will be tough to beat.

It will be interesting to see how Solskjaer sets up his side against Luton Town, as most of his players looked rusty. The Red Devils have played only one pre-season friendly and even that had many first-team players missing. Solskjaer has a huge decision to make whether to rest his first-team players or give them more time on the pitch to get the flow of football in.

On the other hand, Luton Town will be confident to upset the Red Devils on the back of their great form. The Championship club sits in the first place of the second tier of English football and have won their last four games. Thus, United should be wary of the threat Luton Town carry and must act accordingly.

TEAM NEWS

One change in the United side, that is inevitable to happen is Dean Henderson getting a place in the starting lineup tomorrow. The rest of the lineup will be very unpredictable though as United might shuffle things or stick to the same side that played at the weekend. The likes of Eric Bailly, Fred, Jesse Lingard, and Wan Bissaka might all feature against Luton Town.

Donny Van de Beek also has a huge chance of having his first start in a Manchester United shirt following his arrival this summer from Ajax. Whereas Luton Town will play their strongest eleven to get to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
