Anthony Martial has been absent in the pre-season tour lately which has hit Mourinho.
Martial left the team midway through the tour for the arrival of his second child, but this left Mourinho looking for options in last two games on the road.
Since the birth of his son a week ago, the Frenchman has not been in action and Manchester United have responded with a disciplinary action – a fine equivalent to his wages of two weeks.
The Red devils feel that Martial wants to leave Manchester and that is the sole reason he has not been practicing.
Mourinho may be happy with the teams attitude over the five-game tour but is surely not happy with Martial being so long out on a holiday, while others coming back three days earlier.
When asked in the press if Martial will play for the Reds or not? The United Manager said he did not know when Martial would return. Though the Frenchman has responded to all the doubts admitting on twitter that he’ll return by Thursday.
With the comments being thrown at Martial on twitter, the Frenchman has replied by saying: “My little swan is fine, for the Mum it was harder but thanks to God she’s better now. Sorry but my family will always come first… Back tomorrow in Manchester.” The Frenchman has accepted the charges claiming his family to be more important than everything else.
This seems to be a good news for the United fans with chances of seeing Martial against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Sunday.
Merci à tous pour vos messages. Mon petit Swan va bien, pour la maman ça était plus difficile mais Grâce à Dieu elle va mieux maintenant. Desolé mais ma famille passera toujours avant Tout… Retour demain à Manchester 💪🏾
