Manchester United Announce Europa League Squad

Manchester United have announced their squad for the UEFA Europa League this season.

Due to the tournament rules, the squad is broken down into four sections: A-List, Club Trained, Association Trained and B List.

Please note that the B List is not presented below, as it may contain an unlimited number of players and is made up of homegrown youngsters who can be called upon during the competition.

The Reds are in Group L, alongside Astana, AZ Alkmaar, and Partizan Belgrade, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men enter the competition we won in 2016/17.

They will begin their campaign with a home match on Thursday 19 September, against Kazakhstan Premier League outfit Astana. There are no surprises in the squad with United letting plenty of first-team players go this season, Ander Herera left on a free transfer to PSG , Antonio Valencia left after he was not offered a contract extension, Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku have left to join Inter Milan, Chris Smalling and Darmian left to join Serie A sides AS Roma and Parma respectively
