Manchester United’s summer transfer window have been relatively quiet, with only one signing so far, Mason Mount from Chelsea.
However, talks are currently underway with Inter Milan for the acquisition of goalkeeper Andre Onana. Once the payment terms are resolved, a deal worth €55m is expected to be finalized.
After securing Onana’s services, United are expected to shift their focus towards a striker. According to the Sun, Ajax’s Dusan Tadic could be a potential consideration for the club.
Tadic, who recently terminated his contract with Ajax, is now a free agent at the age of 34. His career flourished under the guidance of manager Erik ten Hag at Ajax, following a somewhat inconsistent period with Southampton. This has sparked speculation about a potential reunion at Man United.

While the Red Devils are actively seeking a marquee centre-forward this summer, Tadic could be considered as a short-term signing for the club.
Given the limitations of their transfer budget, the club may need to generate funds before they can make a significant investment in a young centre-forward.
Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund is being considered as a potential target, but the Italian club’s asking price of €100m for his departure is considered excessive.
As a result, United are exploring other alternatives, and in our opinion, signing Tadic on a free transfer could be a viable option for the club in the pre-season.
Tadic is a versatile player who can operate in various positions in the attacking line. While he primarily plays as a left winger, he enjoyed considerable success as a main striker during his time in Amsterdam.
In the previous season, Tadic contributed 13 goals and 21 assists for Ajax across all competitions, with 16 of his goal involvements coming from the centre-forward position.

We believe Tadic’s strong passing ability, work rate, key passes, and finishing skills make him an ideal temporary signing for United.
While acquiring a marquee striker remains a priority, Tadic would serve as a valuable backup option, especially considering his familiarity with Ten Hag’s playing style.
