Manchester United left-back Alex Telles has finalised his permanent move to Al-Nassr for a fee of approximately £6 million, as per Manchester Evening News.
Telles initially joined United from FC Porto in October 2020 for an initial fee of £13.6 million. During his time with the Red Devils, he made 50 first-team appearances before being loaned to Sevilla for the last season.
After a successful season with Sevilla, the defender has completed a permanent move to Al-Nassr, where he will join former Man United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
Although Telles had a successful spell with FC Porto, his time at Old Trafford didn’t match those heights, as he struggled to displace Luke Shaw as the starting left-back.
With only one year remaining on his contract, it was crucial for the club to offload him this summer. United welcomes the £6 million fee as they aim to raise funds through player sales.

United are facing budget constraints and Financial Fair Play regulations, necessitating player sales to bolster their transfer budget.
Shaw is the primary left-back choice, while Tyrell Malacia serves as a decent backup. Alvaro Fernandez and Brandon Williams are also vying for opportunities in that position.
Eric Bailly and Anthony Elanga are potential departures from Old Trafford in the near future. Bailly is currently in negotiations with Al-Nassr and could follow Telles to the Saudi Arabian club.
Meanwhile, Elanga is being linked with a £15 million move to Nottingham Forest after struggling to secure regular playing time under Erik ten Hag.
