Manchester United has decided to activate midfielder Dylan Levitt’s one-year contract extension.
There will be many changes to the squad this summer, with numerous players expected to leave the club, but Levitt appears to have a chance to impress new boss Erik ten Hag after an outstanding season with Dundee United in Scotland.
Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic are expected to go, which might provide Levitt with a wonderful opportunity to break into the lineup. It’s not like Scott McTominay will be assured a spot in Ten Hag’s lineup, and there will be a battle for a regular place in the team.
Dylan Levitt, on the other hand, made such an impression at Dundee United that he was named Fans’ Player of the Year. It’s no surprise that they’d like to bring the 21-year-old back for another season.
According to the Manchester Evening News, United has activated a one-year extension to the teenage midfielder’s contract, tying him to the club until 2023.
Levitt has been with United since he was five years old, and he now has a busy pre-season ahead of him. Levitt got 71 touches and won five of the seven tackles he fought in this week’s Nations League match versus Poland.
However, it’s still unclear whether Dylan Levitt will be a member of the team next season or not.
