Manchester United have had a terrible summer transfer window as the club failed to sign Solskjaer’s priorities including Jadon Sancho and Dayot Upemecano. The United board have always maintained that the club is backing Solskjaer for the long run but that didn’t seem so this summer. Amongst all the chaos, it is now being reported by The Sun that United are still in contention to sign Haaland and Sancho next summer.
Manchester United tried to sign Sancho for the entire summer only to fail on the last day of the transfer window. It was earlier reported that Solskjaer is unhappy with the club’s board with their unwillingness to sign either of Sancho and Haaland this year. The squad surely needs a well-established right-winger and Sancho could have been perfect for United.
It is being reported that despite their failure to sign Haaland and Sancho this year, United are still in contention to sign both the players. Reportedly both are at the top of United’s list of priority signings and the club will try to sign them next summer. But it is highly unlikely for United to sign both the players but could try to sign either of them, but it will need better planning.
Manchester United have been poor in the transfer market and will have to be at their best to sign either of Sancho or Haaland, let alone both of them.
