Manchester United linked with Real Sociedad defender Robin Le Normand

Manchester United is currently enjoying a fine vein of form yet they still have to sort out some of their defensive issues.

Ole seems to want to continue the overhaul with some better defensive options and they are also heavily linked with Declan Rice he 22-year-old defensive midfielder.

Their current defensive partnership is decent but is bound to make some errors at least when there are a lot of things at stake.

According to talksports, Robin Le Normand is on the radar of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer as the 24-year-old centre-back has impressed with his performances for Real Sociedad

Their inability to reach the finals in their domestic competitions despite reaching the semis is another reason why they may require a more sturdy and strong partnership at the back.

Harry Maguire cost the club a fortune and while he was even more expensive than van Djik at the moment he failed to create the kind of impact that Van Dijk had on Liverpool. Manchester United’s Eric Bailly has had a few great games for the club and has put in some excellent tackles to keep his side in the game but he is quite prone to injuries and that can be problematic.

Real Sociedad are enjoying some good form and are taking the la Liga by storm especially with the addition of the creative maestro David Silva but the other players have also played an equally important part.

Le Normand would not come cheap and Real Sociedad does not have any concrete plans to sell him off in the summer which may force Manchester United to trigger the release clause which £67 million to have any kind of an agreement.
