Paul Pogba is one of the best midfielders in the world but one of the most disliked as well, most of which are biased. The Frenchman hasn’t started the season very well and was also suffered from the coronavirus in the pre-season. It is now being reported by The Sun that Manchester United might try to push Real Madrid to do a player exchange deal for Paul Pogba and Federico Valverde.
Manchester United recently triggered an option in Pogba’s contract, keeping him at the club till June 2022. But the Frenchman has almost always expressed his wish and dream of joining Real Madrid someday. The Spanish club and its manager Zidane have shown interest in Pogba and a bid might be on the cards next summer.
It has now been reported that Manchester United will try to do a swap deal with Real Madrid, trading Pogba for Fede Valverde. Valverde is one of the world’s best young midfielders and is gradually cementing his place in the Los Blancos side. The Uruguayan midfielder has a release clause of about £640m, which makes it impossible for any side to price him out of Real Madrid.
Even though Zidane and Florentino Perez are fans of Paul Pogba, it is highly unlikely for Real Madrid to let go of Fede Valverde.
