As reported by Goal, Manchester United is considering cutting short Facundo Pellistri’s stay at Alaves by terminating his loan move.
The 19-year-old winger signed for Manchester United last summer from Uruguayan side Penarol and took part in the team’s preseason training. He was then shipped to Alaves on loan for the rest of the season.
But now fresh reporters have confirmed that Manchester United is planning to bring back Pellistri as he has been given less game time at Alaves.
He has featured in just seven league games and only one of those has come from a starting spot. Getting less than 200 minutes under his belt, Solskjaer is considering recalling his young winger back to give him more game time.
Facundo Pellistri is yet to start for Manchester United in an official match. He has started in unofficial matches but is yet to feature ahead of his fellow teammates.
There are chances that Edinson Cavani and Jesse Lingard could leave Manchester United next summer. This will provide a much greater chance for Facundo Pellistri to feature more regularly in the starting XI.
