Manchester United recall Matej Kovar from loan

Manchester United have called their 20-year-old keeper Matej Kovar back from his loan spell at Swindon Town. The youngster had agreed to a one-year loan spell last summer but his time was cut short as Manchester United is keen on recalling him.

Matej Kovar has been a familiar face with the first team as he has taken part in many first-team training sessions and has also excelled at the U-23 level but by the looks of it, Manchester United already has several suitors lined up for the pole position between the sticks.

One of them is even frustrated due to the lack of game time that he is receiving and under such circumstances, it feels like Manchester United may only be calling him back for a loan spell at some other club.

Manchester United may be a bit worried about Dean Henderson rumours flying around but I do not think he would be looking for a move away from the club given his close affiliation with it.

The young Czech international has a long way to go but has impressed even though he has only managed to keep one clean sheet in his 20 games for Swindon Town.

The loan move for any youngster can be a tough thing as they are at a very malleable age and need the correct guidance if they are to reach the potential that they display from the start.

Matej Kovar has a lot of potential in him and can certainly be a world-beater one day but the club have a difficult task of carefully navigating his future.
