Manchester United Star Casemiro Ready To Move To Saudi Arabia This Summer?

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is open to a potential transfer move to Saudi Arabia this summer, showing his willingness to accept this opportunity.

His second season with United has been difficult, characterized by injuries and irregular performance and this could open a door for him to consider a move to the Middle East.

There has been rising speculation about Casemiro leaving the Red Devils this summer, with journalist Alvaro de Grado suggesting that a move to Saudi Arabia is under consideration.

Last summer, United received an offer nearing €70 million from a Saudi Pro League club, and the ongoing interest raises the question of whether a new proposal will be presented later this year.

The Brazilian star’s performance this season suggests a decline from his prime. In the match against Luton Town, he struggled in his gameplay, losing seven out of nine duels and losing possession seven times.

Additionally, he received a booking and narrowly escaped a potential sending-off before halftime, leading to his substitution by manager Erik ten Hag at the interval.

Ten Hag’s decision to substitute Casemiro during the Luton Town match seems more precautionary, raising doubts about his future at the club next season.

Man United could be open to cut their wage bill by selling Casemiro

The club might get offers from other clubs this summer, especially with Sir Jim Ratcliffe aiming to trim the wage bill by offloading high earners.

The 31-year-old, signed from Madrid for €70m in 2022, could attract offers, possibly from Saudi clubs.

Another possible departure is Raphael Varane, who might move to the Middle East with Al-Nassr offering a huge €58m annual deal.

Man United need a new CDM in their squad

Meanwhile, if the club decides to release Casemiro then they would need a quality defensive midfielder to cover that region.

There is also an option to play Scott McTominay and Kobbie Mainoo in midfield.

However, the fans won’t be too pleased with this idea and would prefer a new player to replace Casemiro at Old Trafford.

With Sofyan Amrabat being inconsistent and Mason Mount prone to injuries, this could open the door for the club to sign a new player this summer.
