As reported by the Sun, Manchester United is interested in signing former Arsenal player, Serge Gnabry this summer. The Red Devils would need to look for a striker if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves the club and the German attacker is capable of filling the slot.
The Portuguese striker had asked the club to let him if the right offer comes through. He has a desire to win more titles and would want the club to show more ambition.
The club has tried its best to convince him to stay but Ronaldo’s agent has already been on the lookout for potential suitors. Napoli, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea are interested in a deal but would have to pay £12m.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure would mean that Manchester United will be on the hunt for a new striker. Numerous players had been linked with the club in the past few months.
However, Bayern Munich’s Serge Gnabry has recently been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

Would Serge Gnabry Be Able To Lead The Line Under Erik Ten Hag?
There would be many answers to this question. Serge Gnabry’s age will be a crucial factor in the deal as he is capable of delivering in his prime years.
The former Arsenal player has experience of playing in the Premier League. Although his time at Arsenal was not a complete success, he was still able to grab enough Premier League experience before heading to Germany.
The German attacker is very versatile with his attacking play. He has played in different attacking areas and could slot in a variety of places. He had a whopping 104 goal involvements in the past four seasons.
Gnabry hasn’t played as a forward for Bayern Munich as Robert Lewandowski used to spearhead the attack. But he can be a good competitor for Elanga or Marcus Rashford at United.
With Mason Greenwood’s suspension, the club has more reasons to actually persuade him in the future. Currently, Manchester United has Jadon Sancho who plays in a similar position as the German winger.
However, getting the 26-year-old winger would still be a smart addition to the club. It will be interesting to see whether Ten Hag would pay £35m to sign him or try to go for other options instead.
