Manchester United are tipped to be the favourites to sign Harry Kane this summer with the Spurs talisman expected to seek a new playing destination.
Kane’s future in the English capital beyond the end of the season has sparked off speculation of late with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid the interested parties.
Reports from the German news outlet BILD, however, claim that with Manchester City shifting their focus towards making a move for the Dortmund star Erling Haaland, the Old Trafford camp could gain ground in their efforts to land Kane’s signature.
The England skipper is looking for greener pastures following a trophy drought with Spurs over the years which might convince him to make the move to United who are on the hunt for reinforcements in the final third of the pitch.
Edinson Cavani is being eyed up by Barcelona and Boca Juniors and should the veteran Uruguayan decide to call it quits at Old Trafford, Manchester United will look to bring in a player of Kane’s calibre to shore up their attacking roster.
