After the FA Cup final, Manchester United plans to sever Erik ten Hag’s contract, a move that will cost the team a substantial £9 million in compensation.
After United’s worst ever Premier League finish of the season, new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has determined to make a managerial change that is required regardless of the outcome of the final which will see United play Manchester City at Wembley.
Kieran McKenna, Thomas Tuchel, Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Frank and Graham Potter are among Ten Hag’s possible replacements ,according to The Guardian.
As a result of his early departure Ten Hag who is under contract until 2025 will be compensated. Prioritizing the FA Cup final match, Ten Hag expressed hope for the club’s future.
He also stated, “I have nothing much to say about the rumors”, when questioned about his possible departure.” “My priorities are to win the FA cup on Saturday and carry the team forward. Positive changes have been observed with the entry of new players and we have a fantastic opportunity in this final”. Ten Hag emphasized the value of post-season assessments in helping the team get better.
