Manchester United FC face Crystal Palace on Saturday on what will be the Red Devils’ first game of the Premier League season. The Red Devils have done little in the transfer market and have signed only one player in Donny Van de Beek. It has now been reported that United’s full first-team squad are back training at Carrington and getting ready for their game in the weekend.
The Red Devils had a lot of players on international duties, missing the start of the pre-season training. The likes of Wan Bisakka and Greenwood were also training alone due to the isolation rules in place. But with the entire squad back in training, Solskjaer has a tough job to select the squad for the first match-day of the Premier League season for United.
Surprisingly, Teden Mengi didn’t play in the Premier League 2 game for the United u-23s, which means he might feature against Crystal Palace. Greenwood has also resumed normal training along with the likes of Fred, Jones, Mata, Bruno and Matic, who were relatively late to resume training. United’s new signing Van de Beek also has a huge chance of representing United for the first time in an official game.
Solskjaer and Manchester United will go into the Premier League confident from where they left off last season.
