Manchester United Want These Players Over The Next Two Transfer Windows

The latest reports have claimed that Premier League side Manchester United are eyeing up a swoop to sign four key players in the next two summer transfer windows to improve their squad.

The Red Devils have gotten off to their worst ever start in the Premier League since its introduction around 20 years ago and they currently sit in 10th place mustering up only nine points after seven games. As a result of such this incredibly poor record, United are eager to bolster their squad and are preparing a few transfer targets in order to compete against the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.

Over the summer, United made only three first-team signings as right Aaron Wan-Bissaka joined from Crystal Palace, English center-back Harry Maguire was snapped up in a staggering deal worth £80 million from Leicester City which made him the most expensive defender of all time and Welsh winger Daniel James came into the side from Swansea City.

The three latest additions to Manchester United look like the best players at the club and are have certainly upgraded positions for the players they’ve replaced on the pitch and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hopeful to sign a few more players that could actually improve the other areas of his weak unit.

Only a few days ago, the 46-year-old Norwegian boss admitted that he wants to sign a forward but reports claim that United have more plans as they are scouting a fullback, a midfielder and two forwards before the UEFA Euro 2020. Two of the four potential signings that United are have added to their wish list are Leicester City and the English duo of Ben Chilwell and James Maddison.

Chilwell could be a massive upgrade for United in the left-back area and he is a young defender that fits United’s style of play. As for James Maddison, the 22-year-old playmaker has been catching the eye with some stunning performances and United want to use him as one of the two strikers or as a possible second striker on the pitch.

The third player on the list is Borussia Dortmund star winger Jadon Sancho who has been a revelation for the Bundesliga side over the past two seasons with his meteoric rise. The 20-year-old can add goals and assists in Solskjaer’s team and would be a great option in attack as the Norwegian is promoting youth. West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice is the fourth player on the transfer list who could slot in at the base of the midfield and provide stability as well as balance to the team.
