Manchester United To Wear Black And White Kit From Next Season Onwards?

Manchester United will reportedly wear a black and white next season which will be similar to Juventus home kit. United have had a black and white strip before, donning the jersey in the late seventies. United have a kit deal with Adidas worth 750 million pounds over 10 years which is 75 million pounds every season.

Adidas provides training and playing kit to all the club’s teams and has the exclusive rights to distribute dual-branded merchandising products worldwide.

The deal is the most expensive shirt sponsorship in the premier league and the third most expensive worldwide behind Real Madrid’s 980 million pounds deal also with Adidas and Barcelona’s 1 billion pounds deal with Nike.

On the pitch, United have had a poor start to the season with only one win in four premier league games and are eight in the table with 5 points. United have failed to take their chances in front of goal and may regret letting Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku leave for Inter Milan and not signing a replacement. Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have struggled to score goals consistently, and both players tend to drift in wide areas rather than through the middle.

Manchester United have been linked with Zlatan Ibrahimovic but with Zlatan turning 38 it is unlikely the deal is going to happen.

Manchester United will play Leicester City who is sitting third in the table when league action resumes after the international break.
