Manchester United have had a poor start to the season, especially in the Premier League, but finally, look to be back in the rhythm. The Red Devils have a huge squad and Solskjaer will have a tough time to select players according to his needs. But it has now been reported by Manchester United’s Official Website that Solskjaer has submitted his 25-man squad for the Red Devils, for the rest of the Premier League season.
Ole Gunnar Solsjaer had reportedly not got even one of his priority signings, but the manager still has a lot of players to select from. Earlier it was reported that the Norwegian had left the likes of Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo and Sergio Romero for the Champions League squad of the season.
It is now being reported that Solskjaer has left out Phil Jones and Sergio Romero from the Premier League squad as well. But, Marcos Rojo has been added to the squad, because of United’s lack of centre-backs. Rojo might be useful for the Red Devils later in the season when games come thick and fast, with chances of injuries increasing.
Sergio Romero has been a great servant of the club and several players were even unhappy with how United had treated him. But the Argentine hasn’t returned to Carrington yet and thus Solskjaer was forced to take such a decision.
