Marcos Rojo returns to Old Trafford

Manchester United FC, as earlier reported, had put about six players for sale this transfer window to generate funds for new signings. Marcos Rojo was inevitably one of the players who were put for sale sighting his miserable time in the Premier League. Despite rumours of Rojo leaving Manchester United this summer transfer window, the Argentine international has lately arrived in England.

Rojo was loaned out to Estudiantes in the January transfer window when Solskjaer decided the Argentine wasn’t good enough for United. Rojo made just one appearance for his boyhood club before getting injured, which has been the case with him most of the times. His lack of discipline and injury record has marred his United career which could have been much better.

It was also reported that Rojo wanted to stay at Estudiantes and play there for the rest of his career. But after the Argentine defender’s agent posted a picture of Rojo’s new kit, Rojo himself has landed in England yesterday. It is very likely for United to sell Rojo this summer especially when they require funds to get in new signings.

The Red Devils could do well with the funds that will be generated by Rojo’s sale, but they will need to do business as soon as possible.
