Marcus Rashford insists the ‘£30’ food package is unacceptable

Marcus Rashford has shown his quality on and off the pitch several times. During the pandemic, he was a shining example of what an influential sporting personality like himself should do to help the common folk.

Marcus Rashford was once again left angry at the incompetence of the government as he shared a picture of a small food parcel that was supposed to last 10 days for a family.

The Manchester United star has aggressively campaigned for free meals to be given to vulnerable children during the corona pandemic.

Rashford’s philanthropic gestures go a long way as he is the epitome of what a gentleman should be like. Rashford also helped to raise £20 million for Fair Share and has been helping out the foodbanks at Manchester along with his mum.

Marcus Rashford comes from a tough background where his mum had to work strenuous shifts just so that she could put some food on the table for him and his four siblings.

Many families are eligible for the £30 food package but are claiming that they are only getting food bundles which are a quarter of the price and surely it cannot suffice for 10 days.

Marcus Rashford is a responsible citizen at such a young age and when one mum posted on Twitter stating the content of the food package she received, he immediately replied that it was ‘Unacceptable’ and asked where the packages were being rolled out.
