Mason Greenwood Seeks Man United Exit Amid Frustration

Mason Greenwood of Manchester United is at the midpoint of his career, hoping for clarity regarding his future amidst growing frustration about uncertainty at the club.

The 22-year-old forward spent last season on loan at Getafe in Spain and is determined to secure a permanent move away from Old Trafford—in a plea where he believes his opportunities might just be limited.

Greenwood’s preference is said to be a move to Spain, where he certainly shone during his loan spell at Getafe.

His eight impressive goals in La Liga and two in the Cup put him on many clubs’ radars throughout Europe.

Valencia, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid are all said to be keeping tabs on him, but Manchester United is said to stick close to a much higher price tag of £40m for the transfer procedure, though the fact that Valencia hoped for £25 million already remains.

The talented academy graduate has already started training on his own pre-season regime in Manchester — offering an indication that he’s primed for a fresh challenge.

Though there is interest from Marseille, Greenwood remains cool on the idea, highlighting his desire to go back to Spanish football.
