Nicolas Holveck admits that the club may lose Camavinga this summer

Rennes president Nicolas Holveck has admitted that the club may lose their star player Eduardo Camavinga this summer.
The 19-year old French wonderkid has been in great shape for Rennes and he is available for a cut-price deal of just £25m. His contract will expire next summer and the club doesn’t want to lose him for free.

Nicolas Holveck knows that Rennes looks certain to lose Camavinga. He said to RMC Sport:

“Discussions are still ongoing, everything is open, either for a departure during this transfer window – if an offer satisfies everyone – or to extend his contract. He won’t leave for cheap, we’ve had a lot of discussions but nothing is complete one way or another.”

Manchester United is highly interested in signing Camavinga and they know that other clubs will join the race for the young defensive midfielder next year.

They will be quick to work on the deal for the French U21 international and their current interests show that they will be quick to sign the player for a cheaper price. Meanwhile, Manchester United will be first looking to seal the transfer of Raphael Varane and then go for other targets.

Camavinga and Pogba will form a superb partnership at the core of midfield and with Fernandes upfront, the trio will make United a very difficult team to beat.

PSG is also interested in the young midfielder, but Man United is in pole position to sign him. The forthcoming weeks may make these rumors look more realistic.
