According to the latest reports, Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has the patience to wait until next summer to sign Borussia Dortmund sensation Jadon Sancho.
There was plenty of hype surrounding Jadon Sancho this summer transfer window as the top clubs in the European continent were keen on snapping up the young sensation. However, Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund insisted that their prized asset is not for sale and will not be leaving the club anytime soon.
The 19-year-old has picked off from where he left off last season as he has already been involved in six goals this season with Dortmund and the German giants are preparing to offer him a contract extension as well due to his stellar performances.
But one club that was heavily linked with the signature of Sancho in the summer was English giants Manchester United. The Red Devils were prepared to offer around £100 million for Sancho but after Daniel James’ recruitment from Swansea City, Solskjaer decided not to push forward with a deal for Sancho.
United already offloaded Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku this summer as the duo has joined Serie A club Inter Milan but Solskjaer is still patiently waiting until the next summer transfer window to make Sancho his first priority.
Reports claim that the 46-year-old Norwegian will play the waiting game with Sancho and look to make a mega offer to Dortmund next summer in order to lure Sancho to Old Trafford rather than look to land him quickly in the January transfer window mid-way through the season.
