After what was one of Manchester United’s worst start to a campaign they seem to have steered their ship and are now second in the table behind only arch-rivals Manchester City.
Manchester United have made a lot of progress this season after a terrible start. Luke Shaw and Aaron wan Bissaka have transformed into a feared wing back duo.
Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes seem to have formed an amazing partnership in midfield. Pogba was reaching his peak again but unfortunately, an injury against Everton has sidelined him again. Edinson Cavani and Rashford seem to be in fine form as the veteran has natural attacking instincts and Rashford is set to break at least a couple of records for Manchester United this season.
All of this has resulted in some great football but despite all of this there still seems to be a few pieces missing that will actually help them achieve any silverware this season.

This inconsistency has regularly cropped up at the back. A lack of concentration on set pieces and silly errors have costed Manchester United dearly in recent times. Ole is confident that this Manchester United side can challenge for trophies in the future but emphasises the fact that they need to be more consistent if they are to have any good chance of doing so.
Manchester United have been looking into possible defensive reinforcements with a centre-back and defensive midfielder at the top of that list. Ole has always told that he has a long-term vision for the club rather than just temporary patch-ups.
Hopefully Manchester United will be able to build on this progress and carve out some success in the recent future.
