As stated by the Sun, Manchester United youngster Omari Forson is in contention to make his full debut in the Premier League in the upcoming match against Fulham at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have officially announced that Danish ace Rasmus Hojlund will be sidelined for two to three weeks after suffering a muscular injury. This has come out as a huge blow for Erik ten Hag’s side.
The club has a void to fill in their attacking lineup, forcing the manager to plan an unexpected move. Academy graduate Forson could make his first full start against the Cottagers.
It may be logical to argue that Antony should play in the front three due to his experience. Even Amad Diallo can chip in if needed.

However, despite the intense competition, young attacker Forson has been given the nod. The 19-year-old has made three appearances for United in the current season.
His most recent appearance was in the breathtaking 4-3 victory against Wolves, where he played as a striker after coming on as a substitute for Hojlund. In that game, Forson provided the assist for Kobbie Mainoo’s winning goal.
Forson’s inclusion against Fulham could turn out to be a move nobody expected
Despite displaying only glimpses of his potential, the decision to start the English ace over Antony and Diallo is a surprising show of confidence from manager Ten Hag.
Considering Marcus Rashford’s proficiency from the left wing, it is expected that the newcomer will play second fiddle in the attacking line. Diallo could be used as a substitute whenever needed.

There shouldn’t be much pressure on the young lad and the players will be looking forward to helping him on this very memorable day of his life.
It remains to be seen whether he secures his place in the starting XI in the next match or makes another substitute appearance.
