Following the end of his Manchester United contract, Paul Pogba is expected to receive a big loyalty bonus from the club.
After four years away at Juventus, the French midfielder returned to Manchester United in 2016. The 29-year-old midfielder’s return to England did not go as planned, and he has now departed the club on a free transfer when his contract expired.
Pogba, on the other hand, will be unconcerned because, according to the Mirror, he will receive a £3.78 million loyalty bonus after leaving the Premier League club.
According to the study, Manchester United has spent a total of £218.93 million on Pogba, with the club having received relatively little in return.
The Frenchman possessed undeniable skill, but he struggled to deliver in the Premier League.
His transfer to Manchester United cost just under £1 million per game, and the Premier League giants will not get any of the huge transfer fee they paid for him because his contract has expired.
Overall, Pogba’s signing may go down in Manchester United’s history as one of the worst, and it will undoubtedly cost the club a lot of money.
The player still has his chance to win something at Juventus but it will not be easy to bring back his old form.
