According to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United is open to selling Anthony Elanga during the summer transfer window.
The club is reportedly seeking a transfer fee between €15-20 million for the young Swedish star. Elanga has attracted attention from several clubs, with RB Leipzig being one of them.
While talks have taken place between Leipzig and Elanga’s representatives, no advanced negotiations have taken place thus far.
Various other clubs have also expressed interest in the 21-year-old, with previous reports linking more than 12 teams to him.

Leipzig’s recent victory in the German Cup, coupled with their third-place finish in the Bundesliga behind Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, means they will be participating in the Champions League next season, which could make them an appealing destination for Elanga.

RB Leipzig is in search of an attacking replacement following Christopher Nkunku’s departure from Chelsea. Meanwhile, Elanga, who has fallen out of favour at Man United, is eager for a new challenge elsewhere.
The 21-year-old’s playing time at United has been limited, starting only seven out of his 26 appearances across all competitions this season and providing two assists.
With Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho ahead of him in the pecking order, Elanga is expected to face even greater difficulty in securing playing minutes at Old Trafford.
Manager Erik ten Hag is looking to strengthen United’s attack during the summer, further indicating the need for Elanga to seek opportunities elsewhere.

The Red Devils are keen on offloading unwanted players and are willing to sell them at affordable prices. It is possible that Elanga could be available for less than €15 million, potentially attracting more clubs interested in his services.
