Recent reports have stated that Premier League side Manchester United have made contact with Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala in a bid to try and lure the playmaker to Old Trafford this summer transfer window.
Manchester United endured a horrendous season last term as they finished in sixth place in the Premier League table but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has shown signs that the Red Devils are looking to get better and compete for major honors. The Red half of Manchester confirmed the signings of Daniel James and Aaron Wan Bissaka this transfer market, but United are looking to continue their reinforcements to the team to build on what they want to achieve in the foreseeable future.
There is still speculation revolving around World Cup-winning Frenchman Paul Pogba as the 26-year-old is constantly linked with a move away from Manchester United. Pogba has admitted that it is his dream to play for La Liga giants Real Madrid and a move to the Santiago Bernabeu is still on the cards as the Los Blancos are monitoring the midfielder’s situation.
Belgian star Marouane Fellaini left Old Trafford in January to play his football in the Far East and Spaniard Ander Herrera joined Paris Saint Germain this summer which is leaving United short on midfield options. But Solskjaer wants to land a big-name player in the summer that can fill in the boots for Pogba if the midfielder decides to leave and add some high quality to his squad. Even Belgian forward Romleu Lukaku is on his way to join Inter Milan and United want a forward that can score and create goals on a regular basis.
Latest reports have claimed that United are targeting Juventus midfield maestro Paulo Dybala in the summer as the 25-year-old seems to have lost his place to Cristiano Ronaldo at Turin. Dybala has the potential and the ability to make things happen in the attacking third and the star winger could ponder on a move to Old Trafford to attain regular football.
But Dybala is neither rushing nor hesitant to make a move away from the Italian champions and he is still looking forward to working with Maurizio Sarri. United have made contact with the forward but a move to the Premier League this summer seems unlikely considering Manchester United are not playing Champions League football.
