There have been loads of talks about Sergio Romero’s future at Manchester United after his wife took to social media to express her displeasure. Romero hasn’t returned to the United camp yet despite the Premier League and the Champions League having started. It is now being reported by the Daily Star that Sergio Romero is set to have crunch talks with the Manchester United board and might leave the club soon.
It was earlier reported that Sergio Romero was excluded from Manchester United’s Premier League and Champions League squads. The Argentine goalkeeper was linked to a lot of teams this summer, but the Red Devils didn’t sanction his move. This had agitated Romero and he hasn’t even trained with the squad since the end of last season.
It is now being reported that Romero will soon have crunch talks with the Manchester United board regarding his future at the club. Romero and the United board might come to a mutual agreement to terminate his contract at Old Trafford. Manchester United would be happy to terminate his contract, as he has no future at Old Trafford.
Sergio Romero has been a fine servant to Manchester United and he should have been treated better than he has been in the last couple of months.
