Solskjaer Leaves Lukaku Out For Preseason Fixtures Sparking Transfer Speculation

Italian side Inter Milan have been given a massive boost in the pursuit of signing Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku after the Belgian was left out of the squad during the last two preseason games.

Ever since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge of Manchester United from his predecessor Jose Mourinho back in December, the Norwegian manager has not really shown his faith in Lukaku. The 46-year-old has not really utilized the services of the big burly center-forward which has created a bit of uneasiness between the pair.

Lukaku has also reportedly stated to his teammates that he feels unloved and unwanted by Solskjaer which could mean the end of the road for his career at Old Trafford. The 26-year-old forward arrived at the red half of Manchester from Everton back in the summer of 2017 in a £75 million deal. Despite scoring goals on a regular basis, Lukaku has not really managed to win over the fans and make a name for himself which justifies his hefty price tag at Manchester United.

And now it seems quite clear that Lukaku could be heading for an exit from the Theatre Of Dreams after being left out of the preseason squad by Solskjaer after United won 4-0 against Leeds on Wednesday. Lukaku was then subsequently left out for the preseason game against Inter Milan on Saturday in Australia which further added doubts over whether he will remain at United or not.

Lukaku has admitted that he wants to work under Antonio Conte and labeled the Italian as the best coach in the world sparking transfer speculation that he could make a move to the San Siro in the summer. Inter Milan are prepared to meet Manchester United’s £75 million valuations of Lukaku this transfer window to land him at Italy and take him away from Old Trafford.
