Several credible sources and reports suggest that United have almost completed their first signing of the summer with Donny Van de Beek. But the Red Devils have many more priorities in the transfer window as well, including signing Jadon Sancho. It is now being reported by The Times that Solskjaer is now looking forward to signing a centre-forward, a right-winger and a centre-back.
With United set to return to training after only two days, the Red Devils have only secured the services of one new player. But, United need much more than just a midfielder and will try to get in other signings as well. It has been reported that Solskjaer is keen to add to his squad and close the gap between Liverpool and Manchester City.
The United manager is expecting a right-winger, a striker and a centre-back, who is preferably left-footed this transfer window. Ed Woodward and Matt Judge did well to secure the services of Van de Beek, but need to replicate the same urgency in other deals as well. The United fan base is very happy with Van de Beek’s signing but also understands that United need more signings.
The Red Devils surely need to get some more signings and will need to do them quickly to allow the players to integrate into the squad.
