Manchester United wonderkid Alejandro Garnacho revealed his favoured attacking position in the front line.
The Argentine star has been a potent threat upfront with his quality movements, clever dribbling skills and neat finishing. The 18-year-old already has four goal contributions in his last four games for the club.
Erik ten Hag has praised the player for proving his worth in much less time and making great use of the chances provided to him. Garnacho made his first full senior debut against Real Sociedad wherein he scored a crucial second-half goal. He provided two assists against Aston Villa in a League Cup match. The star attacker didn’t stop there as he scored the match-winning goal against Fulham in the 93rd minute.
Along with his unique celebration style, the fans are also amazed by the player’s creativity on the left flank.
Garnacho was asked about his favoured position for United and he pointed to the left-wing side. While speaking to the club’s official website, the Argentine star said:
“I’ve always liked to play out wide on the left, as a right-footed player able to cut inside. To be able to play as a right-footed player down the left, you also have to be pretty decent with your weaker foot.”
The 18-year-old is already making a big name for himself at Old Trafford and the board are willing to extend his stay at the club.
The Red Devils are expected to hand a new lucrative contract to the young attacker which will tenfold his salary. Garnacho can achieve great things under Erik ten Hag. The manager has the skills to nurture young players and the Argentine will be motivated to work even more harder.
As the world focuses itself on the ongoing World Cup campaign, Garnacho has the time to prepare himself for the second half of the Premier League season.
