Harry Maguire has had his fair share of ups and downs ever since he has come to old Trafford and many people have questioned the 80 million price tag that came along with him.
Eric Bailly has just returned to form and has got a good run of games in his pocket. His performances have played a very important role in their results and many people have praised him.
The Ex-Manchester United Brown while speaking to Stadium Astro said, “Harry Maguire you would say starts every game if he is fit, but Eric Bailly now has made it difficult for Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] in the sense that if he keeps on playing like that then he might have to keep him in for a while.”
Manchester United have faced defensive frailties in the past and have been pretty inconsistent at the back but the Red Devils are currently having their best run of form in the Premier League.
What was their worst start to a season in a long time as quickly turned into an amazing run of form and it feels like both of the Manchester teams may very well be in contention for the title race this season. They have resurrected themselves and the top players are in red hot form. They have also sorted out their backline to some extent as new addition Telles has done a great deal and provided healthy competition for Luke Shaw.
The players seem to be working really hard for their spots and this helps inculcate an elite mentality in the team. Everyone seems pumped up and if Eric Bailly manages to maintain his fitness he can give some serious headaches to Ole and his staff.
