According to The Northern Echo, West Ham United has entered the race to sign Manchester United winger Amad Diallo on a season-long loan deal.
The Ivorian star spent the previous season on loan with Sunderland. Although he had a slow start, he finished strongly with 14 goals and four assists from 43 appearances.
The Black Cats are now interested in re-signing him for another year, but their hopes have been dampened by the growing interest from Premier League clubs.
Both Everton and Burnley have expressed their desire to secure a temporary deal for the talented attacker, and now West Ham has joined the competition.

The Hammers, who may participate in European football next season, are now in the mix for Diallo’s signature.
It is said that United’s search for another left winger in the transfer market could impact Amad Diallo’s chances of breaking into the first-team squad next season.
If the Red Devils manage to sign a left winger, Jadon Sancho could potentially compete with Antony for the right-wing position.
In such a scenario, Diallo may be loaned out to gain valuable experience. United manager Erik Ten Hag may prefer a loan move for the 20-year-old instead of keeping him as the third-choice option on the right wing.
While Everton and newly-promoted Burnley are interested in signing the young winger on loan, it is reported that a move to West Ham would be preferable.

The Hammers had a challenging Premier League campaign but have made it to the Europa Conference League final. If they win the final, they will secure a place in the Europa League group stage.
Regardless of the final result, it is believed that David Moyes’ side would have a good chance of signing Diallo on loan from United.
