West Ham vs Man United Predicted Lineup, Preview and Betting odds

Manchester United will be looking to make it two wins from two in the Premier League when they travel to the London Stadium to face a resurgent West Ham United.

Last time out in the Premier League, United beat Leicester City 1-0, courtesy of a Marcus Rashford penalty in a pretty evenly balanced game.

They beat FC Astana 1-0, thanks to Mason Greenwood well take strike in the 73rd minute on Thursday night in the UEFA Europa League. The Red Devils lie 7 points off early pace setters, Liverpool, with a 2-2-1 record. They will be looking to capitalise and go up the ranks as rivals Chelsea and Tottenham play European Champions Liverpool and Leicester City respectively.

The French duo of Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial are still unlikely to recover from their injuries. West Ham on the other hand are on a bit of a roll themselves with 7 points off the previous 3 games, including victories against Norwich City and lowly Watford.

The Londoners are without in-form defender Arthur Masuaku who is suspended for the fixture for a double yellow he picked in the game vs Aston Villa on Monday.

Manchester United have scored 94 goals, their most vs any opposition in the Premier League and have lost only twice in their last 21 league meeting vs the Hammers.

This fixture last season saw the Hammers beat United 3-1, a result which left the latter at the 10th spot in the League table.

PREDICTED LINE-UPS:

Arthur Masuaku’s suspension means Aaron Cresswell will be getting his first league start of the season.

Declan Rice has been in fine form ahead of the crucial game and will positioned to motor the midfield. The defence looks settled with the likes of Angelo Ogbonna and Issa Diop in the heart of defence.

Wingers Felipe Anderson and Ukrainian Andriy Yarmolenko would also be looking to up their gears. New signing SĂ©bastien Haller would be spearheading attack once more.

Argentine Manuel Lanzini would be deployed with captain Mark Noble in the attacking Midfield role. Manuel Pellegrini would be continuing with a 4-5-1 formation.

Predicted Line-Ups: Fabianski, Cresswell, Ogbonna, Diop, Fredericks, Rice, Anderson, Lanzini, Noble(c), Yarmolenko, Haller. 4-5-1

Paul Pogba and new number 9 Anthony Martial are still expected to be on the sidelines, much to the disappointment of the Old Trafford faithful.

Summer signing Daniel James who has been in terrific form for the Red Devils is also a concern but would be assessed before the Sunday 2 PM fixture.

Luke Shaw is also out and Eric Bailly remains a long term absentee. Marcus Rashford would start up front with Juan Mata playing behind him. Nemanja Matic will be partnering Scott McTominay in the middle of the park to provide cover for the back 4.

The defence looked tight against Leicester City last time out shunning out chances for Jamie Vardy. Captain Ashley Young would continue in the absence of Luke Shaw. The London Stadium has not been a happy hunting ground for Manchester United but the Red Devils will be hoping for a Mata-Rashford combination yet again.

Predicted Line-Ups: De Gea, Wan Bissaka, Lindelöf, Maguire, Young(c), McTominay, Matic, Perriera, Mata, Lingard, Rashford. 4-2-3-1
